Anyone heading to le Tour?
Just wondering if anyone is heading over for the Tour this year? I am planning to be in Girona (my life long dream) and the Pyrenees just before the start of the Tour start from the 22nd June - 28th June before heading to London and am wanting to ride the Tourmalet and Aspin, does anyone have any bike rental contacts there? I don't want to drag my bike half way around the world and pay $#@!ing ridiculous airline prices.

Call Jean-Michel, 0061678845687, he'll offer you a Trek but ask him for a Casati. They delivered to me in Lourdes last year, which is just near the two cols you want to climb, then I dropped it off in Bordeaux, They are pretty flexible and will have plenty of bikes because you will be ahead of the TdF.

I am the Creative Director of a very poorly run advertising company, but I am that sick of these people that I would consider even walking into a guarded compound looking for a man with a beard... for money!!!
ReplyDeleteWhere do you live? need to check out that SL3 & the Zipps. Going to ride The Jokers BMC as well and then I will pester Cipo for a ride on the Giant to see what those Carbone are like. Rode the Masi on a very fast group ride, still find the lightness slightly twitchy...
