The Goat's Head Soup Revival in June

I think we've started something here.

I suggest we devise our next adventure ride for June perhaps a little flatter but new area of Victoria given the chance of inclement weather.

  1. The the story or debrief of the adventure will be told to the songs of the Rolling Stones. Please don't pre-empt titles as you'll only spoil everyone's surprise.

    Suggestions for consideration:
West coast to or from Warnambool taking a train in one direction
Bendigo Hell ride - 7am from Bendigo.
a loop of Mornington Penninsula taking in the east coast line and arthurs seat through Red Hill etc.
The back and out from Mt Dandenong is a popular training ride for pros
    Thoughts?

  2. George, i edited the post to keep more on the page.
    Also add this:
I have a couple of routes we can do in the Woodend and Broadford areas that are only 50mins drive away.

  3. Count you mentioned something once about mountain bike tracks/gravel roads?
Should be plenty of sheep out there!

  4. Can't really justify another cycling weekend away for a few months so mornington peninsula works best for me. After a couple days off the bike, loved the baw baw legs today as smashed every road bike on the bike track with my shitty shogun mountain bike. Had to go hard as abiding by mothers day law on sunday.

  5. Consider it on the agenda.
Tour of Penninsula - The Goats Head Soup Revival.

Imagine we go for a 200km loop - 6 hours ride time. with ETA of 2pm.

    June 5 or 12.
