Yes great otway is a whisky au go go, I can secure 3 entries for BBTT pilgrims, assuming the carbon fibre count Masi Spanglish has one and the Hamster is a maybe for the other, do I have any bids for the final slot? Send submissions to the storm ship enterprise post haste...
I don't understand the language but I am in. Let me know Skywalker if problem with entry and I will go ahead and do my own. BBTT gear would be sensational would it not. Mr Mechanic 4 and a half hours is 32.2 km/hr ave non stop over this time or 34.1 km/hr ave over 4 and 1/4 hours of riding leaving 15 mins for pee stops. Is this what you want to do?
No show from Cipo and The Mechanic this morning, shame, bit of a tailwind and no rain.
Balcombe Hill is the hill directly after Mornington. When you get to the top you can turn right and drop down to the road directly on the beach side of the peninsular and make your way back to Mornington.
Alternatively, just rock up in Torquay a week later and ride with the rest of us!
GG, sorry, still in the office, weak i know but just could not get up at 4.45am to make it down to racer by 5.45am. I'll try meeting you and others at Racer for this Sunday's jaunt to where the F*&^ Hill. Do you down to Safety Beach to ride UP or traverse across above sealevel thru Mt Martha? Ohh, What Time at Racer Sunday? Ben - I'd be happy to pay Otway Fee or maybe make a contribution to JJ Development Fund?
Sunday is a rolling turn ride through to mornington.
I had 3 excellent reasons for not riding this morning in the spycho rolling turns of SKCC. 1 I'm still ill from trying to match it with the BBTT pressure cookers 2 Barcelona v Hammers 3 I was in Sydney...
received my top for Otway. These are compulsory...that is, if you want to use their drink stops, photos, facilities etc. Having said that, it'd be excellent to ride in Le Bleu.
I put 4.5hrs so that I can start in the early bunch and have only riders faster than in front. It's a neat trick. The best trains pass you and catch which ever you want.
There is no Sunday ride posted, the ride mentioned is 20/3. It was Barcelona v Arsenal, saw the second half - corker of a game. Yes, realise the compulsory tops, can't comment for the others but I am taking it easy this year, stopping at Lorne for brunch, so won't need any facilities. Will SMS about Friday, subject to the bloody weather.
This morning. Got up. Started to rain. Went back to bed. Then checked the radar on the phone. Looked ok. I thought better go, those two HTFU members will probably turn up, drove down Punty at warp 9 and still had time for the weekly pee on the palm tree prior to the ride!
My Correction: meant Gunners. Based on performance UCL, Italians should stick to what they know best...burying people and making bike frames in Thaiwan.
Guys, SKCC & Ridewiser are holding their Annual Inverloch Training Camp 15>17th April $360pp SKCC Members. Limited Numbers avail, total 40. About to Confirm, Can forward SKCC E-Newsletter if anyone interested? I might go for Ride down Beach Road at Lunchtime now that the suns come out?
