Completely knackered after this morning, three days of brutality on the bike. The Mechanic was a late show this morning, and spent some time checking out the chicks... dirty 'ol man. NoShow Cipo... probably at home polishing the carbones.
Now then, roll up lend an ear. There is an event on the bay on Sunday, so Racer to Black Rock will be shut till 10.45am. So we can wiggle down NEW ST, SOUTH RD, BLUFF RD to Black Rock. Or we go to Smiths Gully. What say the proletariat?
Thanks for the present. If I'd known it was from you I would have taken less care unwrapping her. Still, I did the usual...unwrap carefully, have a play over the weekend and re-wrap. Target were happy to exchange but not refund.
Wont be out Sunday in accordance with the 'One Day Per Weekend Riding Treaty'. Any breach may be prosecuted under the international war crimes act with a maximum sentence of of to 3 years abstenance...I'm on parole as it is.
I reviewed emails and discovered Skywalker nominated Connors accommodation in Torqay for friday. I have very close friends who will happily give me a bunk which I'll take up assuming it's crowded. If so, where's the meet?
Was up Beach rd east last Saturday.Some shoulders on the lower slopes have had some light grading,leaving some gravel on the road but no tarmac as yet dug up.Take puncture proof tyres!
Road Sunday and a little gravel on some turns which we all took with additional caution but still fine to ride.
Crashing at Starship Enterprise tonight for the big ride. Plan to get there asap after work to do some work on the steed. Workshop opens from 7pm. BBTT members only unless incentivised.

ReplyDeleteYes the Beach Rd East post gives some details of impending works. Mind you there's plenty of other climbs in dem dar woods.
