Beauty and the Beast

  1. Oh what a sight it was as Le Bleu streaked at the head of the train heading to what is surely Australia's fish'n'chip answer to the Champs Elysees, racer-mordi-racer.

Heading down was our awkward BBTT traditional rotation in pairs where the leaders tire and part causing confusion and more cowering than 12 people in the lift detecting a fart.

The Hamsters drugs were causing havoc with bursts of energy shooting 50 meters ahead of the gruppo before we clawed him back.

Endeth the first stanza with the Muppet and Hamster taking advantage of a small gap and favourable light change to race to Mordi well ahead.

    Then the miraculous......

As we begin the return someone shouts, "Hey George lets do those rotations,"

Now despite the absence of some of BBTT's cycling aristocracy the rotation was at times majestic.
To see Le Bleu rotaing on the right and pulling in at the front was a sign that the group - as small as the representation - was growing up.
Seeing Pinky Tuscadero (aka Santa) roll over on the right was a tear jerker. The ring-ins kept dragging the net speed up over 40 which, although impressive to Pottet, Muppet, Hamster and Mech, proved costly for Tuscadero and his muscly companion, The Fonz, I presume.

It was a sight to behold though if only for fleeting moments and between the mayhem.

    Imagine with 15+ rolling memebers????

  2. Bugger, missed that, was digging yet another ball out of the rough in that bastion of the golf world... Ipswich... home of the Queensland Open Golf Championships.

No photo's obviously... to smooth for a lens to capture.
Did you show off at Racer afterwards?

  3. Oh man, i thought you guys headed off to Balcombe Hill, Mt Martha, obviously not as my endeavours to catch, sniff and or find any trace elements of BBTT did not come fruition? I needed you guys on the return and after exceeding my return time by only 2.5 hours my 145k hit out stuffed any chance of a Monday escape? Oh well got a bloody good tan from the 2'oclock sun. Might see someone tomorrow at Racer @5.45?
