Action (Man) Hamster

  1. He rode, ran and swam...he's a BBTT made of Ham.
Skywalker, or is Tiger Walker??, the bike course is flat with no wind, the running track is freshly laid by virgins from Omeo and the water is crystal clear and 28 degrees all year round.

Well... till the Hamster peed in it!

  2. And what other merry tales of brokeback mountain the sequel, staring Heath Spanglish and Jake the Hamster.

  3. Not a lot. Did too much early in the week and consequently suffered most of the weekend. The rides were both good, although Omeo return is a little deceptive, being 50ks uphill essentially, and Hotham was just before the heat poured on in. Hamster looks good for the Tri, finished with a 1.48 on Hotham, in-between swimming and running everywhere else. We also managed to eat in every fine public establishment in the area, whilst driving on the wrong side of the road for most of the time, yes Hamster, thats why they toot their horns... and me having to go into psych after putting up with some of the worst music since cave men beat foes skulls. Grease is the word indeed!!

  4. No suprise in his music taste given his background in aerobics, spandex and full body waxing.

What time did you do the hoth in?

  5. Is he dead in the water?
His cadence certainly seems retarded in the water.
Good luck Hamster. Remember to get nutrition right.

  6. 1.48 Hamster/1.58 Spanglish. I took the easy route, went by heartrate, which was 10@150, 10@135 and 10@165. I have 4 attempts, 1.48, 1.51 and two at 1.58. Wasn't feeling great so went easy. Hamster gave it a good go, he is of course more aerodynamic being the worlds only hairless Hamster. He assures me the water was tepid although he seemed quite keen to get out of it! The TRI course doubles back on itself for both run/ride and seems set for bumping into people.

  7. I forgot to mention that the road to Hotham is slowly cracking up, and sliding down the mountain.

  8. How was your swim Spanglish? I bet you were positively jumping out of you skin at the thought of following the hamster into the water...

  9. I stayed as far away from the water as possible, although, at the end of the ride on Saturday morning I would have flopped into it willingly. Its not much colder than The Bay and I can guarantee there's no sharks in it!

Mind you its was 20 odd degrees and really warm, can't guarantee that on Tri Day!
