I know we had this thread somewhere, thought I would continue it here.
This is the Garmin 800. Have not had a chance to look at, one of the guys stumbled upon it today.
It is the replacement for the 705 and has maps, so the office tells me.

I read you can download maps to the 500. I'll keep an eye on the 705 prices then.
ReplyDeleteTo my knowledge, you can't download maps per say or the 500. You can download yours or someone else's ride and follow a "worm". It will tell you how far in front or behind you are in meters. There are no street names like on the 705. Watch out where you buy it. May not have australian maps on it. Beleive you also have to pay for the maps.

ReplyDeleteSleepy recently bought the cateye adventure, $150 from chain reaction. Has gradient to really depress you when you next do Baw Baw.
