Did a ride with a 10% section on the weekend and people were getting off and walking. I can't even imagine 24%, that is not "human".

ReplyDeleteNow that's the sort of journalism that social media was born for - Pure, unadulterated, amateur WTF commentary of, yes, the best Tour in a long time including the dodger with his last stand in ATOC, the tactics of CSC in 2008 and even the infighting btw the Canary and the Duke last year.
ReplyDeleteYep, was jumping out of bed to read the updates each morning. Only got to see the 3rd last stage in full live and that was one of the best I've ever seen. The top 10 blokes just smashed each other over the last 3 climbs, one being worse than the Zoncolan. Still can't believe they rode the last mountain stage through metre high walls of snow in the freezing cold. The good guys get paid well to do this but the domestiques must love cycling to got through absolute hell for 3 weeks.
